Motor Vehicle Excise Tax - Question #2


In November there will be a ballot question asking voters if they want to cut Maine's motor vehicle excise tax. The Maine Municipal Association opposes this initiative and urges you to Vote No.

The motor vehicle excise tax is an important source of local revenues. These revenues are used for the upkeep, maintenance and construction of more than 13,000 miles of local roads and over 800 bridges.

TABOR II - Question #4


In November TABOR II will be on the ballot as an initiated question.  The Maine Municipal Association opposes this initiative and urges you to Vote No.
