Overnight Accommodations for 2008 MMA Convention

MMA has contacted several hotels in the Augusta area regarding overnight room accommodations for attendees at the MMA Convention in order to negotiate room blocks and/or reduced pricing. Please note that MMA has a room block at the Holiday Inn and at the Comfort Inn only. These are negotiated rates and therefore you are not able to request their government rates.  MMA was unable to reserve a room block with the Fairfield Inn & Suites, however they will extend their government rate if there are rooms at that rate still available at the time of your request.   If you are interested in staying at one of the other hotels, you may be eligible to receive their “government rate” as noted below. 

The overnight room reservation process is being left to the discretion of the attendee. If you are a municipal (or other) government official, you may qualify for the “government rate.”  The following list provides you with the negotiated or government rates as provided by the hotel.   When you make your reservation, please check with the hotel to determine if you are able to take advantage of their “government rate.”

Selected hotels in the area are listed below with their location, room rates for both single/double accommodations, and a telephone number.  Please mention the MMA Convention room block when making a reservation at the Holiday In or Comfort Inn.  Generally, room reservations require either a credit card guarantee or a check for one night’s accommodation.

Location of Hotels:  The Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn and Fairfield Inn are off the Civic Center exit of 1-95. The remaining hotels are accessed from Exit 109, which is just one exit south from the Augusta Civic Center.  Room availability may be limited.
