Mills Tightens Restrictions, Extends Municipal Program

Reacting to a rising number of COVID-19 cases in Maine and nationally, Gov. Janet Mills today postponed a planned opening date for bars and tasting rooms, reinstituted quarantines for visitors from three states and extended the Keep Maine Healthy program, which 100 municipalities participate in. She also restricted the size of indoor gatherings to 50 people or less effective Wednesday, Nov. 4.
