A public hearing on the taxation-related portions of the Governor’s biennial budget, which includes the state-Municipal Revenue Sharing Program and reimbursement to municipalities for 70% of the lost property tax revenue associated with the $25,000 Homestead Exemption program, has been scheduled for Friday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.  Municipal officials are encouraged to submit testimony and/or testify in-person remotely before the joint convention of the Appropriations & Financial Affairs and Taxation Committees.
