The U.S. government’s Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations Bill will permit Congress to directly fund projects, for the first time since 2011, in the form of Community Project Funding, also known as “earmarks.” This opportunity is available to local and state governments, and non-profits. Chellie Pingrees’s Office is making available information on the parameters of the project requests, including direction to make the process transparent and accountable.
