MaineCF Animal Welfare Grant Program awards grants totaling nearly $343,000

The Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) Animal Welfare Grant Program has awarded 25 grants totaling nearly $343,000 to organizations and projects across the state that promote animal welfare.  Recipients include the Town of Dexter, which received a $5,000 grant to provide annual exams for older cats placed in companionship with older people in the community and to provide housing pet deposits.
