The Town of Hollis, Maine is requesting quotes for the shim and surface paving of Pleasant Hill Road within the Town.  Working closely with the Road Commissioner Rob Hanson, the bidder will provide the itemized cost for the outlined below:

1.       1” shim coat for Route 117 to mailbox 66.

2.       1”- 9.5mm surface coat from Route 117 to mailbox 66.

3.       1.5” – 9.5mm surface coat from mailbox 66 to Deerwander Road.

4.       All paved intersection and driveways to have butt joins.

5.       All dirt entrances to have a 12” paved apron.

6.       2’ compacted gravel shoulder on each side of new pavement.

All quotes must include total cost. Quotes must be sent through the US Mail, Express Mail or hand-delivered to the Hollis Town Hall – Select Board Office.  Quotes are NOT acceptable through e-mail or fax.

Sealed quotes must be received at the Hollis Town Hall – Select Board Office NO LATER THAN 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. 

All quotes should be clearly marked “RFQ Pleasant Hill Road.”  Address to: Town of Hollis, Attn: RFQ Pleasant Hill Road – Select Board Office, 34 Town Farm Road, Hollis, ME 04042.  Quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted.  The Town is not liable for any costs incurred by the bidder.  The Town of Hollis, Maine reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and proposals.

All quotes will be opened in public at the Hollis Select Board meeting on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 7PM in the Hollis Community Building, 35 Town Farm Road, Hollis, ME, 04042.
