INVITATION TO BID - Johnson Field Reconstruction of Tennis Courts

The Town of Standish, Maine will accept sealed bids for the removal & disposal of existing courts and construction of new tennis courts until 2:00 p.m. on July 1st at the Town Manager’s Office, 175 Northeast Rd. Standish, Maine. The removal and construction of the tennis court will be at Johnson Field Park located at 89 Chadbourne Road Standish, ME 04084. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name and address of the Bidder and clearly marked "Johnson Field Tennis Court Bid DO NOTOPEN UNTIL 2pm on July 1, 2024." on the face of the envelope. Bidders must submit2 copies of all bid documents. The bids will be reviewed by the Parks & Recreation Director for recommendation and to the Town Council and scheduled bid award on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within thirty (30) days after opening thereof.
 

DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS
-  The bid must include the removal / disposal of existing fence and appurtenances, and existing tennis court surface.
-  Furnish and install gravel as needed.
-  Paving of 100’ X 120’ surface with 2 inch of base asphalt and 1.5 inches of surface asphalt.
-  Install two coats of standard colors to be determined.
-  Application of acrylic resurfaces.
-  Furnish and install two sets of 2” tennis playing lines and two sets of 2” pickleball playing lines.
-  Installation of 4 net posts, net anchors, and nets.
-  Furnish and install a 10’ black vinyl chain link fence to match existing design, an entrance gate and meet ADA requirements.
