The Town of Greene Public Works Department, through the Board of Selectmen, hereby offers for sale by sealed bid the following vehicle:

2011 International “Work Star” Dump Truck (VIN# 1HTWAAAR46J296530)

Single axle dump truck equipped with 11’ angle plow equipped with Nordic cutting edge system, 10’ wing, dual carbide cutting edges. 7-yard body with side dump sander, manual transmission with Eaton 8 Speed ‘Road Ranger” w/LO/LO, 76702 miles;

Minimum bid: $25,000

All Equipment is Sold As Is Where Is with no warranty as to condition.

Vehicle may be viewed at 202 Main Street, Greene Maine.

Vehicle must be removed from premises within 7 days of winning bid.

Please submit Bids on the Bid sheet provided within this Invitation to Bid Packet. All bids must be submitted on the “Public Works Vehicle Bid Sheet” provided, signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “2011 International Truck Bid”.  All Bids must be received at the Greene Town Office, 220 Main Street, Greene, Maine 04236 by 10:00 AM on July 3, 2024. The Board of Selectmen will determine the winning bidder on July 8, 2024 at the regular scheduled meeting.

The Town of Greene reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids or to take any action deemed in the best interest of the Town of Greene.
