1999 EMV Medium Duty Walk-in Rescue truck on a Peterbilt chassis

The Town of New Gloucester is accepting sealed bids for its retired from service 1999 Medium duty walk-in rescue manufactured by EVM. Vin#1NPNHD7X9XS502537 on a Peterbilt chassis. The current vehicle mileage is 52572 current hours 4532. The vehicle currently has working emergency lighting and siren which will be made inoperable if not sold to a municipality or recipient authorized to operate such equipment. Other vehicle features are seating for two in the front, eight roll-up cabinets, the front compartments are transverse compartments. The rear features a walk-in cab with bench seating for four, storage under the bench and several shelves and cabinets for storage.

The Town has set a minimum bid of $15,000.00. Any bidders wishing to see the vehicle prior to bidding need to make an appointment by contacting the Fire Chief at 207-926-4142, appointments will be made during normal business hours M-Thur. Bids shall be sealed and labeled “1999 Rescue Truck” ATTN: Manager Kerbin. Bids can either be mailed to 385 Intervale Rd. New Gloucester, ME 04260 or dropped off at Town Hall located at the same address no later than 6:00pm on July 15th, 2024 bids received after 6:00pm will not be included in the bid opening. The Town of New Gloucester reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Bids will be opened during the Town Selectboard meeting on July 15th, 2024 at 7:00pm.
