Equipment Operator Full-Time Position

Mid-Coast Solid Waste Corporation transfer station  is seeking a full-time qualified equipment operator. Candidates will operate light and heavy-duty equipment and be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.   Candidates familiar with the operation of a front-end loader, bulldozer, and commercial trucks offer a highly valued skill set and Mid-Coast is interested in speaking with you!  A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required but operating experience preferred. 

Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform regular physical labor.  The ability to work with the public and maintain a clean and safe work environment is essential.  Competitive wages and benefit plans are available for all full-time employees. Facility hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday 8 am to 4 pm.

Candidate must have a high school or GED diploma, be able to lift 40 lbs., and a valid Maine Driver’s License. A Saturday shift may be required. Willing to train the right candidate. MCSWC offers competitive wages and is an equal-opportunity employer.
