The most northeastern city in the United States, Caribou Maine, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the next Chief of Police. The Chief is responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing all aspects of the police department’s operations, including law enforcement, community outreach, budgeting, and administrative functions. Activities are conducted with considerable operational independence and personal judgement under the general administrative direction of the City Manager.

The Police Chief must be an active member of the community. This is a full-time, FLSA exempt, non-union position. The starting annual salary is $85,000 - $90,000, depending on experience & qualifications. The City offers a competitive benefit package.
