GENERAL INFORMATION:

Department:    Recreation

Barg. Unit:      Non-Union

Status:             Part Time (5-15 hours/week)

Schedule:        Based on demand. Must be available to work night and weekend hours to accommodate a wide range of community programs.

Reliable transportation is required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have high school diploma, or equivalent. Previous customer service experience is helpful, but not required. Must have the ability to reliably follow procedures and work independently. Must have experience with, and enjoy working with all members of the public.

 

WORK ACTIVITIES: Responsible for opening and supervising the Lewiston Armory during recreation programs and rentals. Ensures safety and wellbeing of program participants and visitors. Provides excellent customer service to all patrons. Assists with setting up/breaking down basic recreation equipment. Completes some light janitorial duties. Secures building after each event. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
