The Town of Brunswick Fire Department is currently seeking a dedicated Fire & Life Safety Inspector. This role involves conducting inspections, issuing civil citations for fire code violations, and reviewing construction and life safety system plans. The Inspector will collaborate with various department members and contractors throughout the review process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect new constructions, existing housing, commercial structures, and other buildings and facilities.
  • Issue permits, maintain records, and review plans and related documents.
  • Investigate complaints and respond to inquiries via phone or in person.
  • Serve as the primary department officer during occupancy inspections.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary range: $59,334 - $77,066, with starting pay based on qualifications and budget considerations.
