Kennebunkport is seeking a motivated person who will serve as the Equipment Operator / Truck Driver for the town. We are searching for a motivated problem solver who will prioritize customer service issues, take responsibility for a winter plow route, and contribute to team efforts for summer road maintenance operations.
The Equipment Operator / Truck Driver position is full-time, hourly, non ‐ FLSA Exempt and reports to the Public Works Director. A High School diploma and two years of related public works or construction experience are required; or any combination of experience and education. The ability to operate a 5-Ton Plow Truck with wing and material spreader is required as well as the possession of a valid Class A or B CDL license. Overtime is a part of the work schedule during winter storm events.
The Town of Kennebunkport offers a competitive benefits package, and the starting pay rate is between $27.02 and $30.27 (commensurate with experience).
