The Town of Falmouth has an excellent career opportunity for a Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Manager in the Wastewater Department. Under the supervision of the Wastewater Superintendent, this position has primary responsibility for laboratory testing, reporting, and documenting test results. It also provides support toward the operation, maintenance, and repair of treatment plant equipment and requires on call responsibility.

Applicants must be detail-oriented, organized, work independently and be a team player. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of wastewater operations or relevant (i.e., laboratory, mechanical, electrical) experience and a State of Maine Grade III-B wastewater treatment plant license. Candidates with an interest but little experience are encouraged to apply. We will invest in the right candidate! A valid State of Maine Class C driver’s license is a requirement. Salary is based on relevant experience and the range is $25-$35 per hour.
