The Maine Municipal Association is currently accepting resumes for the position of Member Service Specialist. This position is responsible for professional and technical work in the utilization, entry, and quality control of the Association's membership records and other related information resources. This work includes maintenance of the information stored in the Association's membership database as it relates to municipal officials, MMA memberships and subscriptions, and assists other staff and members with maintenance of data in related database modules, such as Affiliate Group memberships, Conference Registrations, Subscriptions, and product orders, to ensure consistency and accuracy of data. . The Member Service Specialist role serves as the initial customer service point of contact for the organization’s members with regards to member information, meeting registration and product sales through the association’s ecommerce platform.
The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or association management systems (AMS) software is a bonus.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in, and enjoy customer service. This position interacts with thousands of Municipal Employees across Maine.
