The Town of Bucksport is accepting applications to fill an opening for a Patrol Sergeant with the Bucksport Police Department. This position will be a patrol supervisor position in charge of the Department’s patrol staff.

Applicant must possess an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field or 5 years of Law Enforcement experience including supervision experience. 

Candidates must have no criminal or adverse traffic record and may undergo an oral interview, background investigation, polygraph, psychological and medical examination. 

The Town of Bucksport is a rapidly growing community with a population of approximately 5,000 and a Police Department that provides 24-hour coverage, 7 days a week.  The Bucksport Police Department is a team oriented, dedicated agency that has a strong belief in family, community policing and community involvement.

Salary may vary per qualifications and years of service.
