Allenstown, NH (approx. 5270 pop.) is seeking a progressive, proactive leader with demonstrated municipal finance skills to serve as its Town Administrator. Located in Southern NH midway between Manchester & Concord there is easy access to all the medical, cultural and educational assets available in those cities. The Town Administrator reports to a 5 member Board of Selectmen and oversees a $5.5 million budget and 32FT and 66PT employees. Must be experienced in municipal operations, finance, human resources, and creative community problem solving. Strong interpersonal & written/verbal communication skills essential. BA required, MA degree and 7- 10 years municipal management experience preferred. Salary range of $83,500 to $110,000 (Highest Step). Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
