The Town of Pownal has created a permanent part-time position for an Information Technology Officer. This position will be responsible for maintaining the town’s website, social media platforms, monthly Constant Contact email, and maintaining the AV equipment.  Much of this work can be accomplished remotely.  Responsibilities include posting meeting agendas and minutes, recording, editing and uploading meetings and posting pertinent information like office closures, election information, etc.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of email design, maintaining a professional social media presence, attention to detail and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should have the flexibility and foresight to research new systems and avenues of communication to meet the town’s changing needs. The schedule for this work is flexible and is anticipated to be up to 10 hours per week. Please send a completed job application or a resume to:
