ASSESSORS’ AGENT SERVICES

The Town of Appleton is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide property tax assessors’ agent services. Appleton has a single contracted Assessors’ Agent that is appointed by the Town Select Board (whose members also serve as the Town’s Assessors). Services include preparation and timely filing of assessment documents, abatements and supplemental tax assessments, yearly appraisals, market analysis, data entry and consulting as necessary.

Sealed proposals addressed to Clerk, Town of Appleton, 2915 Sennebec Rd, Appleton, ME 04862 and clearly marked “Assessors’ Agent RFP” will be accepted until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2025. Bids will be opened in public session that day at 6:30 p.m. at the Appleton Select Board meeting.

The Town of Appleton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
