The Town of Whitefield is requesting bids from qualified contractors with experience and references to paint:

1) Interior of the Whitefield Town Office at 36 Townhouse Road

2) Five (5) rooms: main lobby, office space, clerk’s office, bathroom, assessor’s office

3) Prep surfaces and paint all walls, trim, baseboard, and window casing (do not paint window sashes). This includes moving furniture to access walls and baseboard. We strongly encourage visiting the town office during office hours to inspect.

The paint shall be supplied by the Contractor; the color will be selected by the Town. The work shall be completed by November 30, 2024. Scheduling to be worked around office hours and coordinated with Administrative Assistant.

Interested contractors may contact the Administrative Assistant with questions or stop by during business hours to review the scope of work Mon & Tues 8-4 pm, Wed Closed, Thurs 7-12 pm & 3-7 pm, Fri 8-2 pm.

The Town must receive proposals no later than 3:00 PM on Tuesday July 30, 2024. Proposals will be opened that evening at the Select Board meeting at 6pm.

The Town of Whitefield will evaluate all proposals on the basis of estimated cost, professional qualifications, equipment and methods, references and other relevant information. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to further negotiate with any party.
