The Town of Washington is seeking bids for a 1987 Ford L-8000 Cat Eng, automatic transmission 10-wheeler. Has a 2000 gallon water tank. Was used by Washington Fire Department to haul water. Can be viewed at Washington Public Works Garage with advance notice, please call the town office at 207-845-2897 to schedule an appointment. The truck is being bid on a “where is, as is” basis.

All bids for purchase must be received by 1 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025. Bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Truck Bid”, and may be mailed to Town of Washington, PO Box 408, Washington ME 04574, or delivered in person to the Town Office at 40 Old Union Rd, Washington ME, during business hours.

Bids will be opened at the select board meeting March 5, 2025. The select board reserves the right to accept or reject all bids.
