Town of Bar Harbor – Accounting Clerk/Accounts Payable
The Town of Bar Harbor is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Accounting Clerk/Accounts Payable. Primary responsibilities include processing weekly expense warrants for numerous departments, processing motor vehicles registrations as well as boat, ATV and snowmobiles, processing tax and utility payments, answering the phone and assisting residents, and maintaining accurate vendor records. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, self-motivated, dependable and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Customer service or Municipal experience and proficiency in Microsoft excel is preferred. The Town of Bar Harbor offers an excellent compensation and benefit package.
