The Presque Isle Police Department has immediate openings for the position of full-time Patrol Corporal. The Presque Isle Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individuals for the position of Patrol Corporal to be lead road supervisor on day shift. Work with a group of four sergeants and a second corporal to lead our four squads of officers. 

· Competitive Wages! Starting pay  $32.22 per hour with step increases and COLA.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Individuals with honorable military experience, an Associate’s Degree or greater are encouraged to apply. Certified Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates with current police certification as well as out of state certified officers who have been in law enforcemnt for a minimum of 2 years are eligible to apply. Candidates will be required to successfully pass a background check, oral board and Corporal's examination.
