Reserve/On-Call Crossing Guard

The City of Sanford is seeking Reserve/On-Call Crossing Guards to help ensure the safety of children as they cross the roads to school each day.  This rewarding role is perfect for someone who wants to contribute to the well-being of our community and its youngest members. 

Play a key role in ensuring the children get to school safety, creating a positive and lasting impact on their lives.  This responsible position serves as a trusted and friendly presence for families and the community.  This is a flexible opportunity ideal for those looking for on-call work with a meaningful purpose. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Head Crossing Guard and Deputy Chief of Police. 

The City is looking for dependable and punctual individuals who can respond on short notice for on-call needs.  Hours for the Reserve Crossing Guard positons will be on an on-call basis with the exception of a vacancy known in advance.  Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
