FULL-TIME EMA DEPUTY DIRECTOR - LINCOLN COUNTY

Lincoln County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of full-time Deputy Director in the Office of Emergency Management. 
This position assists with program, resource, and financial management of the EMA office. 
Planning, research, communications and public outreach are key components of this role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2-3 years of emergency management or public safety experience
  • Experience using radios, trailers, generators and other equipment
  • Community minded attitude with the ability to plan for emergencies
  • Proficiency with MS Office, website maintenance, database management
  • Organization, prioritization and time mgmt. skills to meet frequent deadlines
  • Ability to use and manage social media accounts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, elected officials, public safety personnel and the general public
  • Ability to activate Emergency Operations Center, individually or as part of a team
