The Town of Manchester is seeking an experienced full time Fire Chief.

The candidate must have the strength of character and depth of knowledge to inspire and lead talented, dedicated staff. Also, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing strong, positive working relationships throughout the community.

Minimum requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Firefighter 1 & 11

Valid Driver’s License

Preferred requirements:

Fire Officer I, II or III

Fire Inspector I

Fire Instructor I & II

Wages:  Salary will be based on experience. 

Benefits:  13 Holidays, PTO, Health Insurance

Salary and Schedule is based on 36 hours

Selected candidate will be subject to background check and pre-employment physical
