Assessing & Code Office Assistant (Part-Time 28hrs/week)
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support your community? Our town is looking for a personable Assessing & Code Office Assistant to join the Assessing and Code Enforcement team on a part-time basis with flexible hours.
Role Highlights:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the public, handling inquiries by phone and in person.
- Manage records and keep property information up to date.
- Support correspondence, website updates, and departmental schedules.
- Assist with tax-related documents, property assessments, and building records.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of office experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with TRIO software is a plus.
- Friendly, organized, and able to work independently.
