Waterboro Fire Department is accepting applications for per diem Firefighter/EMT positions.

Applicants must have a current state of Maine EMS license (Paramedic/Advanced EMT preferred), Firefighter 1 certification (FF 1&2 preferred) and EVOC.   Applicants considered for employment must pass a background check and medical clearance.

Per-diem employees are expected to schedule a minimum of two shifts per month. 

Hourly pay rate is based on license level:  Basic $21.26, Advanced $23.11, Paramedic $27.61

The Town of Waterboro has a combination department with career, per diem and call force employees serving a community of approximately 7,800 residents and handling over 1,200 calls annually.
