Per Diem Firefighter EMT/AEMT

Rockport Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Per Diem Firefighter EMT/AEMT positions.  These positions will cover the full-time crew members out for vacation, sick etc. with 24-hour shifts, and possibly 12-hour shifts

The primary duties involve covering the Town of Rockport for all EMS and Fire calls. The successful candidates will demonstrate a customer service driven focus, seeking opportunities to engage with and provide the community with top notch care in their daily work.

There will be many opportunities to serve the public, including events such as working within our community with an Open Door Policy, providing CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed Classes, Blood Pressure Checks, Flu Shot Clinics and Sporting Event Coverage, to name a few.

Benefits Include:

Starting pay $26.00 - $31.00, dependent on license level, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements:

• Maine Licensed EMT/AEMT

• Maine Certified or Pro-Board Firefighter I & II

• High School Diploma

• Valid Maine Driver’s License

• EVOC

• Pass a Physical Agility Test, EMT/AEMT Test, Background Check,

Medical Clearance
