The Town of Rangeley is currently accepting applications for full-time and part-time Police Officer positions. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Candidates will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check, oral interview, psychological exam, and physical agility test as well as a medical and polygraph examination.

The Rangeley Police Department serves a population of approximately 1200 year-round residents and thousands more with seasonal homes. Rangeley also accommodates thousands of Tourists per year. The Town of Rangeley offers competitive wages starting at $30.00 per hour for Law Enforcement Academy Graduates and more for lateral transfers. Health Care and retirement benefits including MPERS 2C Plan (25 years, no age at 50 percent). The Town offers a competitive signing/retention bonus.
