The Town of Bar Harbor is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Planning & Code Enforcement Administrative Assistant. This is a clerical position focused on providing administrative support for the Planning and Code Enforcement Office. Responsibilities include public interactions, processing permits, managing records, assisting with correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining data systems. The position requires organizational and communication skills, proficiency with computers, and the ability to handle sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, self-motivated, dependable and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Customer service or municipal experience and four years of office administrative work preferred. The Town of Bar Harbor offers an excellent compensation and benefit package.
