Responsibilities

• Assist in snow removal.
• Assist in mowing.
• Assist in inspection of airfield for hazards.
• Assist in reporting runway conditions to supervisor, if other than normal.
• Assist in maintaining public buildings at airport.
• Assist in maintaining airport security.
• Assist in maintaining airport perimeter road.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and light mechanics on equipment being used.

Hours

• Seasonal, part-time position.
• Hours will typically average 20 hours per week, though additional hours may be required for winter operations.
• Work non-standard hours including nights and weekends. 

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must possess clean, valid, State of Maine Driver License, Class B commercial driver’s license is preferred.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment, work in adverse weather conditions.

Pay Scale

• Seasonal Part-Time, non-exempt, non-union position.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Pay range PT16: $17.40 – $21.73 per hour.
