Presque Isle, ME (approx. pop. 8,800) is seeking a dynamic leader with demonstrated organizational, administrative and management skills to serve as its next City Manager.  This is a full-time position that requires a visionary leader who can continue the transformation of the City in the growth of the downtown, is a person who can oversee significant infrastructure projects and who can provide creative solutions to the City’s needs. The City owns and operates its own industrial park, providing economic development opportunities for the region.

Th City Manager reports to a seven-member City Council.  A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years municipal management experience with supervisory responsibilities is desired.  An equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities may also be considered.
