Airport Maintenance Foreman– Portland International Jetport

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus for External Applicants!

The Portland International Jetport is seeking a motivated Maintenance Foreman to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Maine’s largest airport and make a difference every day by keeping our operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor a talented team of Airport Maintenance Workers,
• Oversee maintenance tasks on everything from airport buildings to runways, both airside and landside.
• Schedule, inspect, and ensure high-quality work while keeping safety a top priority.
• Work closely with other airport divisions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For:

• A strong background in heavy equipment and construction.
• Ability to pass a physical assessment (cardio, strength, flexibility, vision, and hearing).
• A valid Maine Class B driver’s license.
• Successful completion of TSA background check (TSR Part 1542) and a federally mandated drug test.

During training, this position is 1st shift (Monday through Friday) with the final anticipated shift being 2nd

Salary & Benefits:

This is a union position, Supervisors (Grade 24A) - $989.20/week, plus a 2nd shift differential of .55/hour.
