Assistant Director of Food Services - Barron Center, Nutrition Services
Full-Time position – Schedule 9:30AM-5:30PM Tuesday - Saturday.

The Barron Center is owned and operated by the City of Portland and is Maine's largest skilled nursing facility. Now is your chance to have the job you always wanted - being a part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of our Residents.

This position assists in the training, scheduling, supervision and evaluation of employees, in addition to directing work and assisting in preparation of meals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified candidates will have experience in the large-scale serving of food on a supervisory level.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures used in maintaining cleanliness of cooking and serving facilities.
• The ability to effectively instruct, supervise and coordinate the work of others.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a union position, Protech (Grade 5): $23.92 - $30.30 /hour.
