Seeking qualified individual who is passionate about mission-based work to manage our clinical programs within the Public Health Department at 39 Forest Avenue. This opportunity consists of overseeing the Maternal and Child Health Nursing Program, STD clinic, Immunization program and the Portland Community Free Clinic. This position is an integral senior team member of the Public Health Department and the ideal candidate will have interest and experience in health equity, community dimensions of practice, public health sciences and leadership/system thinking. Additionally, this position will be responsible for planning and promoting the programs and the coordination and development of Public Health clinics and services. Grant writing, monitoring and report submission and strong communication skills to staff, partners and the general public are necessary. Regular assessment of program plans, strategy and outcomes will be reviewed in conjunction with the Division Director.

Required Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in public health, health management, clinical health or a related field is preferred but we will consider candidates with any combination of experience and training that provides the requisite skills.
Ability to understand and interpret public health laws, confidentiality restrictions and clinical regulations.
Ability to write, prepare and monitor grants and budgets and complete necessary reports.
Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the activities of assigned staff.
Ability to set program goals and implement work plans to achieve goals.
Ability to work independently and provide leadership in problem solving activities with staff and management.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong interest in expanding services and patient population by pursuing innovative funding sources is desired.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a non union position (Grade C51) - Salary range: $78,302.00 - $90,766.00/year.
