Customer Service Associate – Permitting and Inspections Department
Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) - Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30pm with potential for a flexible work schedule.

Primary responsibilities of this position involve administrative work requiring considerable accuracy, organization and attention to detail. This position serves as the front line expert in managing customer service inquiries about permitting, zoning, inspections, and all other processes of the department. Strong communication skills, both oral and written are essential.
Duties include:
• Answering phones.
• Assisting customers in person, by phone, and by email.
• Scheduling inspections.
• Processing invoices for payment.
• Responding to general requests for information, documents, and reports.
• Document/archive management.
• Providing assistance to the public with the permit application process.
Requirements:
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge and experience with a multi-line phone system.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, specialty electronic permitting software, Google Suite applications, as well as modern office equipment practices and procedures.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a union position, CEBA (Grade 11) - Starting at $21.20/hr.
