HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, PROGRAM COORDINATOR - Public Health Division

Full-Time (37.5 hrs.)/Project position - We are currently seeking highly qualified individual to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Tobacco & Substance Use Prevention Program. The Coordinator will identify and implement evidence-based, population-level public health strategies to address prevention in Portland and throughout Cumberland County. This person in this role should demonstrate an independent, self-directed, and motivational work ethic, and have excellent skills in written and verbal communication.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Graduate level degree in public health is preferred; bachelor's degree with relevant work and management experience will be considered.
• The successful candidate will have significant staff and programmatic management experience.
• Additionally, experience in meeting high level grant deliverables and objectives.
• Fiscal and programmatic reporting.
• Grant writing.
• Coordinating and/or participating in a multiple disciplinary coalition.
• Budget management is required.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a non-union position (Grade C41) - Salary range starting at $67,329.00/yr.
