The Barron Center is owned and operated by the City of Portland and is Maine’s largest skilled nursing facility. The pay is competitive and the benefits are outstanding. $5,000 sign-on bonus
Duties include:
- Onboarding all new hires
- Development and delivery of education trainings, including a CNA training program.
- Coordinating with outside education providers to schedule and place clinical students.
- Electronic medical records training
- Serve as Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Chair.
- Development of and conducting audits in various departments, and assists with development of performance improvement plans.
- Includes supervisor on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current license as an RN, in good standing in the State of Maine
- Additional education in gerontology preferred
- Management experience in long-term care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits:
Non-Union position Grade C44 - starting salary range is $76,021 - $96,312 annually
