City of Portland - Training & Operations Coordinator

 

Police Training and Operations Coordinator-

 

The Police Department is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Police Training and Operations Coordinator. The Police Training and Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the Training Sergeant in the coordination and administration of the department’s training programs and operations. This position will be responsible for facilitating training for all officers and civilian employees, ensuring the department remains compliant with training standards, and fostering relationships with other agencies for joint training opportunities. Required Skills & Experience:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Previous experience in human resources, training, or a similar role.

• Strong office management and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proficiency in Google Suite software.

• Ability to pass a police background check.

Salary & Benefits:

 

This is a Pro-Tech union position, (Grade 6) - Starting salary range: $51,226.76 - $64,896 depending on experience.
