The Presque Isle Police Department has immediate openings for the position of full-time Patrol Officer. The Presque Isle Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individuals for the position of Police Officer.

· Competitive Wages! Starting pay PRE-Academy $26.17 per hour, POST-Academy starts at $27.67 per hour.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Individuals with honorable military experience, an Associate’s Degree or greater, or certified Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates with current police certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to successfully pass a background check, a medical, psychological, and polygraph examination. Candidates must also successfully pass the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Alert test as a condition of employment.
