The City of Sanford is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Park Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and improvement of our parks, playgrounds, ballfields and buildings. A Master Commercial Applicator’s License is required and a Certified Playground Inspector designation is highly desirable. You will oversee the application of landscaping chemicals and treatments, ensuring compliance with regulations. Inspection and maintaining playground equipment, ballfields and public spaces to ensure safety and usability. We are looking for someone with strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and schedules effectively. A pro-active problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.
This challenging position covers a wide variety of duties including but not limited to the removal of snow, installation and removal of banners, all aspects of Weed Management Program including State of Maine reporting requirements, maintaining ornamental lighting, providing removal of road kill, assisting in the set up and taking down of voting booths, pre-season start up and shut-down of City owned irrigation systems, and more!
