The Town of Wiscasset has an immediate opening for a full-time Class A Driver/Laborer at the Transfer Station.The job involves the operation of heavy and light equipment. Applicants must possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

The Class A Truck Driver/Utility Laborer performs varied skilled work involving general duties to include: driving the Transfer Station tractor/trailer regularly and as needed to disposal facilities as directed; work as a transfer station laborer disposing of solid waste and other related duties.  Work is performed under the direction of the Public Works Director.
