The Town of Berwick is seeking a full-time Truck Driver/Laborer to join the Public Works Department.
Public Works Department is responsible for Town road and property maintenance which includes snow plowing and shoveling, ditching, patching potholes, stripping crosswalks, doing annual roadside ditch and culvert inspections, mowing town property, attending to cemeteries, installing a variety of driveway culverts, and replacing signs.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Ability to pass a preemployment physical and drug test.
- Ability to skillfully operate a bucket loader, backhoe, snowplow with wing and a variety of other equipment.
- Ability to do a variety of manual labor.
- Ability to work long hours during inclement weather.

Standard hours are 6:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:00am- 3:30pm, Monday-Friday during the winter months.
