The town of Standish is accepting applications to fill a full-time laborer/truck driver/equipment operator position in its Public Works Department. We offer a competitive wage and benefits package. A valid Class A or B driver’s license, experience in operation of heavy equipment and mechanical aptitude are required for the position. The town has a 4-day work week Monday-Thursday. Weekends, holidays, and night work is likely during winter months and other significant weather events. Pre- employment physical and drug testing are required. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Application and job description can be picked up at the Town Hall during normal business hours. This position will remain open until filled.
