The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, located in mid-coast Maine, is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Special Service Deputy. Typical duties of this position are Prisoner Transport, Inmate Work Crew Supervision, and Court Security.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or 20 years of age with 60 college credits
- Applicants must complete Maine Criminal Justice Academy ALERT test prior to applicant testing. (ALERT testing is conducted the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Please call 207-877-8000 to make an appointment.)
- Applicant must be willing to participate in all phases of this preliminary testing process, which may include a physical agility test, written test, oral board and several interviews.
- Meet all requirements set by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office job description. A copy of this is available at the Sheriff's Office.
