Maine Municipal Association’s Risk Management Services is seeking a qualified applicant to join the Loss Control Department as a Loss Control Technician. The Loss Control Department supports members in reducing their exposure to risks specific to their operations by providing technical support, on-site consultations, and providing unique training opportunities.
The Loss Control Technician provides administrative and technical support to the RMS and Loss Control departments.
A well-qualified candidate will have:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in an administrative role
- Exceptional organizational skills, especially in managing and maintaining digital records efficiently and accurately.
- Proficiency with technology, advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs.
- Experience in municipal government (e.g., administration, law enforcement, fire department, public works, utilities).
- The ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines assigned by the manager.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
