Maine Municipal Association’s Risk Management Services is seeking a qualified applicant to join the Loss Control Department as a Loss Control Technician. The Loss Control Department supports members in reducing their exposure to risks specific to their operations by providing technical support, on-site consultations, and providing unique training opportunities.

The Loss Control Technician provides administrative and technical support to the RMS and Loss Control departments.

A well-qualified candidate will have:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in an administrative role
• Exceptional organizational skills, especially in managing and maintaining digital records efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency with technology, advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs.
• Experience in municipal government (e.g., administration, law enforcement, fire department, public works, utilities).
• The ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines assigned by the manager.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
