Med-Care Ambulance provides emergency medical services for 11 communities in Northern Oxford County. As a regionalized service we ensure that our communities are provided with exceptional care and service 24/7. Our EMS providers perform 911 emergency response, inter-facility transport and community paramedicine services within the rural communities. The organization has been a shining example of the regionalized model of service since 1988.
 

System Information:
 Three ALS ambulances staffed 24/7.
 48-hour work week with built in paid overtime for full-time employees (24 hour shifts on
     a 1 on 2 off, 1 on 4 off rotation).
 50 employees with 12 full-time EMS providers and 3 administrative staff.
 Covering 11 communities over 550 square miles.
 Responding from a new 14,000 square foot central station built in 2014 with state of the
    art classroom and crew quarters.
 Responding to over 4,200 calls per year split between 911 and interfacility transfers.
 Providing care in urban, rural, and wilderness settings.

Salary and Benefits:
 Paramedics starting at $25.47 per hour with additional compensation for experience
